Karin has used up 2/3rds of her NTAF Transplant Fund and
she needs your help to replenish needed resources.
Karin's greatest need is for your prayers but you may want to consider what else you may do to support her at this time. As you can imagine the cost of the surgery and all the medical treatments she has had, as well as follow-up medications, is tremendous. Karin's caseworker told her to set a goal of raising a minimum of $150,000 and that $500,000 would not be too much . Numerous fund raising benefits have already taken place and other donations have been received. Some family members have asked us not to buy gifts for them this year but to make a donation to Karin's fund instead. Perhaps you, too, would thoughtfully consider a donation to the National Transplant Assistance Fund in the name of Karin (Marks) Bordner to help defray her expenses particularly if a tax deductible donation to a charitable cause is something you have been planning anyway. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
